Tyson's basket ball game

Last Saturday we went to Tyson's basketball game. It was so fun to watch the kids. Tyson did a great job on defense. He really played hard! Thanks Tyson for inviting us! Eilisa took the picutres while Tysha took care of Madison. Madison wanted to get out on the court and play with the big kids! Tyson was real cute with her when he was sitting out, he wanted to hold her and talk to her. We then went and had a hamburger, fries, rootbeer and ice cream for lunch. Then Tyson had to take his Aunt Eilisa to the Fun Park and show her how to drive the race cars. They had a lot of fun. We can hardly wait for everyone to be home for Thanksgiving! It will be so crazy but loads of fun! Thanks for your comments, you were faster than my posting. Eilisa got the pictures up but she told me that I had to write. When I got to it this afternoon there were Jennie's and Heidi's commments already! Wow, you two are on top of things.
See you all soon!

What can I say?

Don't have much to say, we are not that interesting. Well, Tysha is but I am not. Ok I will try to list what has happened since the last posting.

We received the People Choice award for the Portage booth at the Box Elder County Fair. The mayor is so pleased with our work that he told us that the Town of Portage would pay for our dinner at the Dude Ranch in Malad. Now isn't that extravagant spending for Portage? Ha, Ha!

Tysha enjoyed her training in Memphis and made new friends there. They keep in touch and help each other with the hotels. She went and got her eyes examined. She ordered new glasses as well as contacts. She will get the glasses in a couple of weeks and she will be examined again to see if the contacts are working.

I spent a week and a half out with Heath, Heidi & family and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was so much fun getting to know Little Saydee May and Elliana Ruth. It was so hard to leave them.

We had Tyson over for Bryson birthday the weekend that we came home. The boys had a sleep over at Grandma Nese's and played the next day for hours!

Tyson came over the a week after that and we had another sleep over with them. They play so well together now. Almost no misunderstandings. We went to a movie that afternoon before Tyson had to go back to his mom's. They are cute kids. I love having them stay with me.

We are trying to plan to get Tyson during UEA weekend and go visit Brinklee and Mckenzie. I think that they would enjoy time together. They haven't been with each other for over a year. I can't wait to go.

I have another big audit coming next week and I am a basket case all ready. This one is with the new Finance Director from Salt Lake. You never know what they will find or think you've done wrong. So prayers are always welcome in our behalf.

We seem to just go to work and come home try to do a little (little being the operative word) house cleaning. We visit Nic, Cyndi and the kids when we can. Little Liah (that's the spelling for today) is growing so quickly. Sara is starting to really like Tysha and myself which is nice. Of course Bryson has always liked being with us so there isn't a problem when we watch all of them now when Nic takes Cyndi out sometimes.

We are looking forward to having Eilisa & Madison home for a month. That will be so fun. Then of course we are trying to plan for the Thanksgiving bash! I can hardly wait for everyone to be together!

Our prayers and thoughts go out to our little Elliana Ruth and family. We love you all and hope that the surgery will be quick and her recovery will be even quicker. What would we do if we didn't have family, their love and prayers? Life would be real miserable!

So there you have it. Like I said, not much happening in our little part of the world.

Thanks!

Jen,
Thanks so much for nominating me for the award! It made me feel so special. But you really should give two to Eilisa. She is the one that does all the background, music all the special stuff on my blog. I can't nominate anyone else because I don't have friends and you have given the award to the family members that blog. So I am going to just enjoy the nominations.
Hey the new Stephine Meyer's book came out today. I went and got my copy, did anybody else? I can't wait to start reading but have to wait until after the audit Tues.
I love all my family so much and miss all of you more and more. Can't wait until we can all get together.

Miscellaneous

Once again there isn't much going on in our lives. We did take Bryson to Kung Fu Panda last weekend. He seemed to really like it. We had a choice of "Wall E, Space Chimps or Journey to the Center of the Earth." By the time Tysha got off work that evening we didn't have a chance to get to the Walker Theatre on time. All those shows started before 7:00 p.m. We went into Brigham's Capitol just to see what was playing and low and behold Kung Fu Panda and we got in just as it started. Surprisingly pretty good. Bryson liked it anyway. Nic and Cyndi went to the new Batman movie last week and Nic said that he wanted to go see it again because he wasn't sure how he felt about the whole thing.
Saturday night (26th) we had Debbie and Jessica Lucas come over and we watched "Watchers in the Woods." Jessica had never seen it and it has been years since I had. It was fun. Lance, Jennie and the girls gave that DVD to Tysha for her birthday as well as, "Lady in White" and "Changeling." She was in seventh heaven.
The next couple of weeks are going to be real busy for us. We have been asked to help decorate the "Portage" booth for the fair. You know the community booths that are in the big building with all the crafts, canned goods, art work and 4-H displays. Carol Parkinson, Debbie Lucas, Konae Petersen, Tysha and I make up the committee. I am not very creative but the other ladies are so that is all that counts. I can supervise real well. (Ha, ha!)Tysha leaves on Aug. 10th for training in Menphis and will return on the 20th or 21st. I fly out on Aug. 7th to see Heath, Heidi and the kids. I return on the 16th. So you can see that our August has already been pretty well scheduled in for us. That only leaves us a couple of days when we are all back to get the fair display up and ready. I just can't believe how fast time is flying by!
I am also going to have an audit next week so I am going to be just a little bit pre-occupied for a while. That is putting it mildly. I hate audits!!!!
Like I said we are not that exciting! But we do love you all so much and miss you more and more each day.

We also want to wish Tyson the very happiest 7th birthday on July 30th. Wish that we could all be together to celebrate. Eat lots of cake and ice cream for us. Take lots of pictures.
Once again our love to all of you.

LOVE
Grandma Nese :)

Visit

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to let you know that Parris and Dorothy came up Friday evening and spent the night with me. Gail and Lynn came down so it was sort of a "Chet & Ruth Neal" reunion of sorts. Parris stopped off at Famous Dave's and picked up dinner. It was really good. Pulled pork, Bar B Que chicken and spare ribs, corn on the cob and corn meal muffins. It was good of Gail to come down. I am sure that Parris and Dorothy enjoyed visiting with her and Lynn much more than they would have it had just been me. They want to have a yearly reunion and start getting all the kids to come. Think about it.
We really need to get everyone's dates for genealogy purposes. I need birth, baptismal & endowment dates, city and county. I should have had them entered a long time ago but now I am getting calls from family historians that want our information. So could you all please get that to me in the next week? Those that have already given me the information, I thank you very much.
Tysha went to visit Kyla last weekend to celebrate her birthday. She and Kyla went to supper in Twin rented a couple of videos and went back to the house and vegged for the rest of her stay. She came home late Saturday night. She has been called to be in the primary music and her first time to play the piano was Sunday. She did a good job.
Jennie, I am on the second book of the Stephanie Meyers books. I agree, they are good. I had a hard time with the first few chapters they were sort of a yawn. But then it just pulls you in hook line and sinker! I would recommend them to anyone.
You all congratulated me on the new blog look; I have to thank Eilisa for it. She is the one that updates things for me. I am not that good at blogging yet. Maybe some day.
Remember that I love you all and miss you all so much. Looking forward to Thanksgiving when I can see you all.
LOVE Momma Nese :)

Camping on the Fourth

Hey everyone! Yes I know that I am a slacker. I just feel that since I don't have pictures that there isn't much to post. Eilisa told me that I should tell you about the camping trip. What can I say? It was fun. Lot of work to pack everthing up, set up tents, camp and then in a couple of days do the same thing over again. Wish that all could have been up there with us. Couldn't beleive how green it still was for the month of July. Keith & Carissa came up Firday the 5th with little one. She made me realize just how much I miss all of my grandchildren. Keith fell on some rocks in the hot spings and we think that he cracked a rib or two. He was carrying Camaren Lynn and she went under the water. After that she wouldn't have anything to do with Keith or the water. Lynn went for a hike and we thought that he was lost but he had checked in at the trail head so we just had to be patient. He finally made it back. He was wishing that he had left earlier so he could have gone futher up the trail. We drove up to Josephus Lake on Sat. It took us about 2.5 hours to get up there. It was a steep windy trail. On the way down Lynn got tired so let Keith drive. We made it down in halve the time to drive up. But he had Kyla & Carissa car sick for going so fast! Keith entertained himself with trying to catch chipmunks in the little baby seat that had a lid on it. He succeeded in catching two of them. Of course it was catch and release! We packed up Monday and came home and still trying to get back into the swing of things here at work.
Parris and Dorothy are coming to Utah today. They are going to come up I guess this weekend for a visit. Gail and Lynn will come down Friday evening. Anyone that wants to come and visit with all of us would surely be welcomed.
Please keep up with all your postings and pictures, I truly look forward to each morning when I get a break to look at all your blogs. I love you all so very much.

Great News

Well, I think that you all know by now but thought that I would put it on the blog. Yes, Tysha has been offered the general manager position at the Hampton Inn in Tremonton! She is so excited but overwhelmed at the same time. She has to pass an on line training course before she can go to Memphis for her ten day manager training. They have tentatively scheduled the first week in August to have her go. If there is an opening in July they will try to get her in that but first the online course has to be completed. She has to hire a new executive housekeeper to take her place, a new assistant housekeeper. Who know how many other positions she will have to hire. I know that this is where she is suppose to be. This opportunity has come so soon. I know that our prayers have been heard and answered. Thank you all for your love and continued support of her.
I love you all and miss you more than you will ever know.
LOVE MOM :)

Slacker!

Hello everyone,
As you can tell, haven't posted for awhile. I love looking at all of yours. Tysha and I went to Lance, Jennie and the girls a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Jennie posted some pictures on her blog. We want to thank them for letting us come and having such a wonderful time even if it was a short visit.
We have been helping Nic, Cyndi and the kids a little to move into their new home. They slept there last night. They have done a super job on the house. We just watched the kids from time to time. The last time we watched them Sara Avery wasn't very happy with me and was crying. Bryson looked up at me and told me to just sing "Chip,Chip " and she would be alright! Sorry to say she wasn't convinced that it was what she wanted. We went down to the new house Monday night after having supper up home to help put the new bunk beds together. That was an experience! We hauled the new box of disassemble bunk beds upstairs. It was a very heavy box, half way up I asked Nic why he hadn't opened the box and we could have taken smaller loads. He didn't want to make more trips up the stairs! Just gave Tysha,& I hernias! Oh well, we got them up the stairs and put together that night.
Wednesday night we went over to Logan and took Tyson out to supper. Just a warning Heath and Heidi, he loves to eat! We had a great time with him. He didn't want us to leave, he wanted to come home with us. But he is so excited to fly out to his daddy, Heidi, Saydee and the new baby. We will miss him so much this summer.
So there you have our up to date news.
Brinklee, Aunt Tysha went and got her nails done and they are bright pink with silver sparkles just like you wanted her to. Now I just have to figure out how to send a picture of them by phone, I really don't want to bother Kelly to down load a picture of nails on his computer then make a CD for me to post. I can't wait to get our computer up and running.
Talk to you all later.

Bouquets

Sara Avery is enjoying the flowers but likes the cookies better! Bryson is so proud of his flowers and card that he made for his momma and Long Haired Grandma. Eating the yummy desert on mothers day was Sara's & Bryson's favorite part of the whole day.

How smart are we? Don't answer that!

Too bad that I didn't have the batteries in the camera last night. It would have been a great picture of how Tysha & I work together! We couldn't get a brand new jar of blue cheese salad dressing open, so we thought that we would use the nice opener that Grandpa Tree sent me for Christmas. We put it on the jar, stood there watching as it try to tighten up on the lid. It wasn't working the way we thought it should so we pushed the opener down on the lid for a minute to get a better grip. Wrong move! It gripped the jar but not the lid. You guessed it! It popped the jar, we had glass and blue cheese from one end of the kitchen to the other! Blue cheese on the cupboards, glass & dressing thrown as far as the hallway by the bathroom. Not the easiest to clean up either! It's amazing how much power two little AA batteries can have! The worst of it all is that we broke the opener too! We didn't have any dressing for our salad either! Oh well, hope your day goes better than this. Talk to you all later

No pictures!!!

Hey everybody,
Eilisa has just set me up on this blogspot. Don't expect many pictures. I am not that advanced yet!! Just want everyone to know that I have enjoyed all your blogs. It makes being so far away from you almost bearable! Tysha and I live a very dull life and I can just see us posting pictures like: "Here we are ready for work, here we are coming home from work, etc. etc. etc." Maybe when I get some pictures of Sarah Avery, Bryson & Tyson I will learn how to send them.
We took Tyson out Tuesday night for dinner. Of course he wanted McDonalds! We went to Willow Park but shortly after we got there the weather turned on us so we ended going to the movie; "Nim's Island." He seemed to really enjoy it. I think that he just like the one on one he gets. He just loves Aunt Tysha and insisted that she take him into the house instead of Grandma!
Well, that is it for now.
Talk to you all later
